Recording Youth class and quorum attendance

Do youth class and quorum presidency members have the ability to record attendance?

Youth leaders do not currently have access permissions to LCR and therefore to record attendance in either LCR or Member Tools. Youth adult leaders have access permissions to record attendance.

My speculation is that capability will eventually occur. When it will happen is indeterminate. The question is where this programming lies in the development schedule of priorities in light of the effort to get Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR) and Member Tools aligned to provide the same functionality and user experience while using either the mobile or web application.
