I'm trying to print 2 Blessing Certificates for twins. The Bishop performed the blessings, not the Father. When I click on View Certificate, everything is correct except it is missing the blessed by (Blank space)
it says: Was Blessed on 01 Feb 2026 by (blank space). (should be the bishops name) The next line shows his Priesthood as it should.
Please Advise, Marvin Duncan Ward Clerk.
Blessing Certificate, Blessed By is Blank.

Re: Blessing Certificate, Blessed By is Blank.
Maybe I didn't explain it well. Attached is a jpg file of the certificate. No mater whose name I try to put in as having done the blessing, it will not print it. It only works if I put in the Fathers name. But he did not do it.

Re: Blessing Certificate, Blessed By is Blank.
I'm running into the same problem. The child was not blessed by her father and when I input the person who did it, the certificate shows a blank space for the name. The office of the priesthood is correct though.
I found a work around, which is to say the person who performed the blessing is in another unit, even though he's in our ward, and that seemed to work.

Please notify Church headquarters of the issue and the workaround found by using the feedback link found in the footer at the bottom of the page. If you provide an email address for the feedback you can expect to get a system notification of receipt within a few days. It can take up to a couple of weeks or more to get a more detailed response that will include the text of your feedback and the action being taken. I don't see any faster response when the LCR > Help > Contact Us > Create a New Case feature is used to report the issue.

How to Print a Child Blessing Certificate for
Twins in the LDS Church
Printing a child blessing certificate for twins in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints follows the same general procedure as for a single child. However, the process
must be completed twice (separately for each child). The Leader and Clerk Resources
(LCR) system cannot generate a combined certificate, as each child requires their own
official membership record and individual certificate.
Step 1: Create the Membership Records
Before a certificate can be generated and printed, both children must be registered in
the system using the details from the Child Record Form provided by the parents.
1. Log in to LCR (Leader and Clerk Resources) via the official Church website.
2. In the main menu, navigate to Membership > Ordinances > Record Child Blessing.
3. Enter all the required information for the first child. Save the entry to create their official membership
record.
4. Repeat this entire procedure from the beginning for the second child.
Step 2: Print the Certificates
Once both membership records have been successfully created (or if they already exist
in the system), you can proceed to generate and print the certificates.
1. In the LCR menu, go to Reports and click on Print Certificates.
2. Select the Child Blessing Certificate option from the list.
3. Select the first child's name from your ward list. Enter the official date of the blessing and the full name
of the priesthood holder who pronounced the blessing (the voice).
4. Click View/Open Certificate. This will generate a PDF file that you can print directly onto official
ward certificate paper.
5. Return to the certificates page and repeat the exact same steps for the second child.
Important Tip for Twins: When entering information and selecting records for
twins, pay close attention to the given names, birth orders, or exact times of
birth (if applicable). This ensures that Child A's blessing details are not
accidentally printed on Child B's certificate, or vice versa.
Note: After both certificates have been successfully printed, ensure they are signed by
the Bishop before presenting them to the parents
