Age Limits on Church Accounts
Why can't parents create a church account for their kids? My 6yo has been using Church apps like Gospel Library for years. He really wants to use the Embark app to learn languages, but you can't use it without a Church account. Same for FamilySearch. Please help! I want to let my son explore his love for the Gospel!

Other than what has been stated by those who set and communicate the policies, nobody here knows any more answers to why policies are as they are. We might speculate that the reasons have something to do with child-protection or privacy laws in various countries, but that would only be speculation. Your bishop of stake president might have suggestions for solutions for your particular family's situation. Or, they might be able to get answers or solutions.
