Re: Membership record number
If you don't have it on your account, you can check your temple recommend or ask your ward clerk.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

Are parents given their children’s record number at request?

No one here can give you your MRN. If it's not on your temple recommend, you'll need to ask your clerk.Rebeccaobarrsalib wrote: Thu Feb 29, 2024 11:03 am I need my church record number so I can pay my tything, how can I find it on here, I am in the xxxx, ward, xxxxx, my Bishop is Bishop xxx I would like to pay my tything today
The parents can see the child's MRN in Member Tools app IF they are listed as the legal parents of that child, and the child is in their household. But it might go away once the child reaches 18. I'm not sure about that.Rebeccaobarrsalib wrote: Thu Feb 29, 2024 11:29 am Are parents given their children’s record number at request?

Is the account you used to post this question, your Church account? If so, you can navigate on the website to the account settings, and under the Profile section you will find your membership number.Rebeccaobarrsalib wrote: Thu Feb 29, 2024 11:03 am I need my church record number so I can pay my tything, how can I find it on here, I am in the xxxx, ward, xxxxx, my Bishop is Bishop xxx I would like to pay my tything today
If you have created a generic account and used that to post this message, you'll need to do as described to get your MRN. Then I believe you can either create a new account with that MRN, or you can add the membership number to the existing 'generic' account.
