Suggestions: Non-Forum Aspects of Tech Site

Some suggestions to make the rest of the Tech site (non-forum) more useful and appealing.

WORK:

Perhaps the Newsroom beta could be added to this section. If FCH gave approval, some previews of FamilySearch beta. Update the LDS.org beta to reflect it is now live.

PURPOSE:

Perhaps expand on each point, add links to Joel's comments on each on his blog. Not much more to add here at this time.

PEOPLE:

As has been suggested before, adding FCH individuals involved in Tech, perhaps Bro. Richman or Bro. Schwendiman of the Church Internet Development Group.

CAREERS:

Perhaps this is the one area I'd like to see expanded the most. I feel like the job descriptions here are way too general. Perhaps examples of work, public-friendly blogs of "life in the day" activities, or forum areas where individuals in similar careers could interact with those currently in the positions to explore the frontiers of innovation for that particular area of technology.

These are all excellent suggestions. We've spent the first couple of weeks since the launch in fighting a few fires. Now we can start looking at the content.
