Error when trying to add out-of-unit member.

Hello,
I am trying to add an out-of-unit member, however when I do I get an error message, "An unexpected error occurred. Please check the data or try again later."

I have been getting this message for the last 4 weeks. Background information, the member I am trying to add was listed as an out-of-unit member under her dad's name at the same address. The dad recently passed, when I entered his death date into the LCR her records were no longer in our ward. This sister is going to be in out ward for the next 5 months while she settles her dad's estate, but does not want her records fully moved.

Any direction will be greatly appreciated.

That right there seems odd. Is the dad a member of the ward? If not, then odds are you recorded her death.

I'd call GSD.

Dad was a member of the ward, the daughter was a out of unit (oou) record in the ward (since it really was an oou record he couldn't record her death). When the dad's death was recorded, the system tried to organize the left over household and since all that was left was an oou record it deleted it.

Now the remaining question is why she can't be added as an oou now.
