How to review submitted membership audit

Post by donatjr »

Is there a way to review a membership audit that has already been submitted? We have an exception to record children of member parents, but since it’s been a few days, we need to review which children need to be recorded. Thanks.

The most recent membership audit exceptions will be displayed when you go to LCR > Reports > Membership Audit.

The only problem is that on that screen, the description of the exception just says, “Record children of member parents.” We need to see the names themselves.

I am only speculating at this point, but I would expect there to be something like a hyperlink that points to the record(s) with the issue(s). If there is nothing then your next step is to call GSD support.

I am guessing there is incomplete programing or a bug. I have not run into something like that in the membership audit. There was a change in the audit exceptions page about a year ago where additional data was added to the results of the self audit. Things like the number of adult callings requiring protecting and children and youth training that are not complete or expired as well as potential membership record data errors that are added to the results of the self audit.

Where is the “Record children of member parents.” statement in the audit exceptions page? Is it in the "Exceptions Tasks" area of the self audit or in the "Potential Errors" area? If it is the "Potential Errors" area, then the statement is a result of data findings headquarters has in records and not a result of your self audit and there should have been a name of the adult member with a hyperlink to the record. If it was in the "Exceptions Tasks" area your self audit found the record error and there should also be a parent name with a hyperlink to the record.
