It looks like the Send a Message function has been updated and you can now "properly" format your message in the Message field. I know for a long time there were issues with formatting your message in this function (i.e. line spacing, etc.).
For those of you who copy and paste from another word processor, doing so might cause errors in your message once it's sent. For example, I used to copy and paste a message from Google Docs to get around the aforementioned formatting issues. However, I just did that and now the sent version of that message includes random characters everywhere I had double spacing. So just a heads up.

Re: "Send a Message" Function on LCR
I am trying tio send a Relief Society June Newsletter out. I copied and pasted the newsletter into Send a Message. My sent version of the newsletter has random letters that cause the document to be unreadable in some places. I do not understand how to fix it and what should I do.
It has worked so well in the past.

You might have to create the newsletter directly in the message field of the Send a Message function. What might also work is deleting any double spaces from your original message before you copy and paste it into the message field. I had been copying and pasting a weekly message and this morning when I sent this week's message, I had random characters appear in my sent message wherever there was a double space (these are the characters that appeared wherever there was a double space: " ").peggyrowell wrote: Sat May 30, 2026 12:27 pm I am trying tio send a Relief Society June Newsletter out. An attached PDF would be much easier to do.

Agreed. That said, I also had issues sending attachments this morning. I got an error message saying that my message couldn't be sent and I ultimately had to send my message without attachments. Hopefully, these issues will be fixed soon.

Maybe someone here can help -- When I select "All Members", it only lists 30. When I select "All Adults", it has over 200. Is the "All Members" function broken? I'm the communication specialist and the tech specialist for our ward.

I am seeing the same. It looks like it is filtering by all youth instead of all members.zToddW wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2026 11:46 pm Maybe someone here can help -- When I select "All Members", it only lists 30. Mine currently lists all members (though the order is wonky), adds them all to the "to" box, hangs when I try and send it before giving an error, but actually sends it anyway.

Actually, there being a new version is good news. We've been having problems with the old one not getting to some of the members it's being sent to.
From other comments it appears I'm not the only one, and that I should be grateful anyone gets the messages

Re: "Send a Message" Function on LCR
Yesterday, I received two copies of one message sent from a stake officer using LCR. The only differences between the copies were in the header and the part boundary separator. If the new system is making up for lost messages, let's hope it doesn't send too many copies.
