Gospel Library won't load after recent Windows 11 update

Post by willkiml »

Gospel Library worked fine until last week. It now only loads the blue splash screen with the church logo, no turning wheels or anything, then closes after a minute or two. I've repaired, reset, and deleted/ reuploaded several times with change.
The Library works fine on my laptop.
Ideas? Thanks

This is the recent update which I suspect is responsible:
2025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5053598)

Ditto. Gospel Library works fine via the website, but will not run on Windows 11 after multiple uninstall and reinstall cycles. Help?

Is GLWin still a thing?
I have three computers, and none of them will load GLWin. This has been a couple months, so I've been using the online GL instead--so far, the internet requirement hasn't been a huge problem (thankful!).
Nobody has posted anything in this GLWin thread for a while, other than to say GLWin doesn't work. Has it been abandoned?

I just tried to open the gospel library app for Windows and it works for me, so there must be a specific scenario/setup that is causing this issue.

As a test, it would interesting to try the Gospel Library Beta (test) version to see if any changes or not.
Here is the link to the Gospel Library Betta App from the Microsoft Store. https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9WZDN ... d=pdpshare
It is a different app then the main production one.

Let us know if that works or not.
