Deleting Custom Callings

Post by Hilohi »

How do I delete custom callings?

While updating callings in LCR, I noticed in the drop down menu a custom calling that we no longer use. However, I couldn't find a way to delete it. Also, is there a way to see a list of all custom callings so that I don't have to go into each quorum/organization to see if there are obsolete custom callings to delete?

Custom callings are deleted individually in the organization they were created in. The best way to see all callings in your unit is to go to LCR > Callings > Callings by Organization. Then in the 'Organizations' drop-down list box select the "select all" link. All the unit callings are now listed on the same page but organized by the organization/group. Scroll down the page to find the custom callings. They are identified by the "*" preceding the position name. Click the edit icon, pencil icon, found on the far right of the page for a calling you want to delete. If the position is filled the member must first be removed by clicking the 'Release' button. The calling position can now be either deleted or hidden. To delete, click the 'delete' link under the position name. To hide, click the 'hide' link under the position name.

In the options drop down there is also a filter for custom callings
There are 11 types of people. Those who understand Gray Code and those that don't.
